What is an EPQ?

An EPQ -also known as an extended project qualification- is a Level 3 in-depth research project that allows students to focus on a personal interest they might have and produce either a 5,000 word report or a 1,000 word report and a artefact . An artefact can be anything from a computer program to a piece of music or a prototype but must be linked to your project. 

The aim of the EPQ is to answer a question in a specific topic, for example if you're interested in science you might do 'What threat does anti-biotic resistance pose to the world?', you would then do research to answer this question more complex than a 'yes' or a 'no'.
